A Massive Thank You to all for joining the African Australian Advocacy Centre‘s End of Year Gathering and Annual General Meeting held last Saturday. Your participation, enthusiasm, and insightful contributions made this event a celebration of community impact. It was an incredible opportunity for the AAAC team to share our work, connect with inspiring professionals, and showcase the positive strides we’re making in strengthening our communities. Together, we’re driving meaningful change and building a brighter future.

  • Abula, Western Sydney Health District, thank you for your important work raising awareness about African communities’ health issues.
  • Dr. Vin Ogu, Chair of Africa Health Australia (AHA) for your insightful presentation on the work of AHA and its impact on the community.
  • Dr Uchechukwu Osuagwu, Senior Lecturer & Academic Lead, Rural Health, Western Sydney University, for shedding light on the opportunities and realities of life in rural health.
  • Benita Omewu, CEO & Co-founder of Rose Breast Health (RBH), for your powerful talk on breaking barriers in breast cancer awareness and care.
